Fresh Business Solutions is very aptly named in the sense that everything we do is fresh, right the way down to the technology we use. We utilise tools that speed up our services ruling out any unnecessary, time-consuming jobs hence freeing up hours which lowers our costs and therefore your fees! (Clever system isn’t it?)

You may find that some accountants (we won’t name any names) can find themselves stuck in the past. We want to show that accounting doesn’t have to be dull and a chore, our technology helps us here. The software we use allows us to complete tasks efficiently which of course motivates us to keep up to date with any changes through online courses and training days to ensure our skills are always up to scratch!

Fresh Client Portal

Our client portal is essentially the backbone to our practice. It’s the perfect way for us to keep track of everything we do. It’s wide range of features makes it possible to manage client relationships easily, especially the automated SMS and email reminders which keeps our clients on top of their game. From uploading documents for clients to e-sign to organising and setting staff tasks we really would be lost without it!


Microsoft teams is our chosen method of communication when it comes to both clients and each other in the office. We’re an extremely client-orientated company so Teams helps us to contact our clients from anywhere (and of course our team back at the office). Whether we simply want to call a team member for a quick chat or showcase a presentation to a prospect client, Teams is our go to!


We’ve gone through a fair few accounting softwares and yet Xero is always our no.1, it’s huge range of features and cost efficient plans out-do the alternatives everytime! Xero makes accounting simple and is a one-stop shop to say the least. You can pay bills, submit VAT returns, claim expenses and so much more. They have a plan perfect for everyone whether you’re a small business starting out or an established company of any size, Xero has you covered!


Dext (previously known as Receipt Bank) has been a tool used by FBS for years now and we won’t hesitate to say it completely turned our practice around. Dext is the ultimate time-saver but never compromises on the quality of their services! Their client dashboard allows us to view everything in one place and even creates bespoke bookkeeping productivity reports.


It’s safe to say Zoom has become a household name recently, and we think they deserve that title! Zoom not only allowed us to keep  in touch with clients during the numerous lockdowns but continued to let us reach clients and prospects who aren’t so close to home or feel safer seeing us virtually rather than face to face. Zoom also allows us to share our screens to personalise every meeting.


To ensure our practice is always environmentally friendly we use Dropbox so that every single document that comes into our office is available online rather than in a paper format. Not only does Dropbox allow us to do our bit to save the planet, but we’ve never been so organised! It’s easy access and collaboration features help us share our work whenever and wherever.
